- ➤ Little Rock Police Department hosted their annual 'Shop with a Cop' event on Sunday, Dec. 14 to help families in need shop for Christmas gifts at Walmart. The event paired 36 kids from 23 families with over 25 officers & academy volunteers to bring hope during the holiday season. ABC 7
- ➤ Work Harder Gym hosted its seventh annual Lift Against Leukemia benefit powerlifting event today to support six-year-old EJ Jackson battling leukemia — the event drew powerlifters of all ages, raised over $6,000 and collected more than 50 presents for his birthday and Christmas. ABC 7

- ➤ The Pulaski County Special School District board heard a proposed plan Tuesday to change eligibility for graduate awards and honors but took no action, and it will revisit the proposal as discussions continue in preparation for the coming academic term. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Local doctors say diagnoses of type one and type two diabetes in children have risen, with numbers growing from about 160 to 250 to 300 each year. Families are urged to adopt healthier habits to manage the disease and delay its effects. ABC 7
