- ➤ The Skippy peanut butter plant at the Port is back at full capacity after a September fire. Hormel Foods said repairs were complete and the 166,500 (sqft) facility now produces 11 peanut butter varieties for the local community. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ The Arkansas Craft Guild Christmas Showcase returns to the State Fairgrounds this weekend for its 47th year with over 70 vendors selling themed crafts like pottery, wood working, and jewelry. Tickets are $5 per person or 2 for $5, with free admission offered during select times. ABC 7
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A report by Farm Flavor shows that 94.7% of Arkansas farms are family-owned — a rate matching the national average. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Triple A says the statewide average gas price has fallen to $2.55 a gallon today, which is about nine cents lower than this time last year as prices ease ahead of the holiday season. THV 11

- ➤ The Little Rock School District began FY27 budget talks as extra funds ended in 2018, leaving a thinner financial cushion.
