  • A family from Little Rock urged duck hunters to slow down and follow strict safety rules after 21-year-old Ben Whorton was injured in a boating accident on Jan. 10th—his father and local hunters stressed that proper boat and firearm handling can help prevent further tragedies.  FOX 16

  • Sports briefs showed that quarterback Kane Archer switched his commitment from UCF to Utah last Sunday after receiving multiple offers—University of Arkansas junior Maria Jose Marin won the Women’s Amateur Latin America title in Mexico while UCA and Arkansas State claimed tournament wins to secure postseason spots and event titles ahead of upcoming NCAA matchups.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
