- ➤ CARE for Animals is hosting its inaugural 'Pork 4 Paws' barbecue fundraiser on Nov. 1 to raise funds for the group to rescue, rehome, spay & neuter pets across central Arkansas. Barbecue plates cost $15 and must be ordered by Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. with pickup available at Westover Hills South Parking Lot or CARE Headquarters, and free delivery offered for orders of six or more plates. - ➤ Arkansas Paranormal Expo returns at the MacArthur Military Museum where thousands gather to hear speakers on Bigfoot, UFOs— and ghost hunting while enjoying a Bigfoot calling competition hosted by the Cabot Boys.
