  • ➤ A 36-year-old father of three from North Little Rock was killed on I-30 while attempting to fix his broken-down vehicle.  THV 11
  • ➤ Two fatalities occurred in separate incidents on Arkansas roads, including one involving a police pursuit in Little Rock.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

CRIME NEWS

  • ➤ The U.S. Marshals Service arrested 3,421 fugitives, including over 200 wanted for homicide, during Operation North Star FY 2024, seizing firearms and narcotics.  ABC 7

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • ➤ U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland visited Little Rock to discuss the decline in violent crime nationwide and the DOJ's efforts to further reduce it, highlighting a 16.9% drop in murders and an 11.6% drop in homicides, with over $26 million awarded to Arkansas for law enforcement and community initiatives.  KARK
