- ➤ More than 200 people gathered on the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol on Saturday to honor political activist Charlie Kirk—shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University. FOX 16

- ➤ Arkansas Comic Con brought thousands of fans to downtown Little Rock's State House Convention Center for panels, cosplay contests, and celebrity meet-and-greets this past weekend. The three-day event will reopen on Sunday at 11 a.m. and wrap up around 5 p.m. ABC 7

- ➤ High school football has returned to Arkansas as Yarnell's Premium Ice Cream revives its Sweetest Play of the Week contest—inviting fans to vote for the best play. Voting opens on Sunday and closes Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. with the winner announced on social media. THV 11
- ➤ University of Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green rushed for triple-digit yards in back-to-back games—recording 151 yards and a touchdown in a 56-14 win over Arkansas State on Sept. 6 and 115 yards with another score in a 41-35 loss to Ole Miss on Saturday.
