- ➤ Arkansas State University System institutions reported a 7.6% increase in preliminary fall enrollment with 30,339 students recorded—record numbers at A-State with 17,926 students and at Henderson with 2,258. - ➤ On Thursday, Central Arkansas Water's board of commissioners approved spending about $1.4 million on maintenance for water pipes crossing the Little Maumelle and Arkansas Rivers. The board also approved a plan for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to upgrade the boat ramp and docks at WestRock Landing at Lake Maumelle, with work set to begin this fall. - ➤ Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration reported 112,000 appointments have been scheduled since March when it launched a program to cut wait times at local Revenue Offices.
