ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday, a train struck a vehicle on the 5300 block of Perkins Street in Wrightsville—according to a Pulaski County sheriff's office release, the driver died and a passenger was critically injured. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A second Little Rock teenager pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to prison for his role in an August 2023 shooting that killed a 16-year-old boy in his bed—wounding his 15-year-old friend—after a gun deal went wrong. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Early Monday morning, North Little Rock police responded at 2:55 a.m. to a shooting on the 300 block of East Bethany—officers found a man who later died at a hospital with no suspect identified. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Arkansas statewide tourism tax revenue fell nearly 5% to $7.71 million from $8.11 million between January and April 2025—its first drop since the COVID-19 disruptions—while hospitality collections in Little Rock increased 2.4% to $6.133 million. FOX 16
