- ➤ Town Pump, Little Rock's iconic dive bar, reopens today at 1321 Rebsamen Park Rd after renovations by new owners Barnaby Group—operators of George's Little Rock. The group plans to open a new pub called The Lady in early 2027. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ An employee at the Rockefeller Early Childhood Center was fatally shot outside the school just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday—a suspect is in custody and police report the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Little Rock is celebrating the six-year milestone of its River Market Entertainment District with a lively birthday bash scheduled 6-8 p.m. Saturday — featuring live entertainment, menu specials and promotions from district businesses. - ➤ Pulaski County mailed over 40,000 voter notices this week to update voter rolls—27,300 confirmation cards for active voters and 13,000 cancellation notices for others—and anyone not responding within 30 days will have their registration removed. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Arkansans requested increased federal support for waterway projects including bank stabilization work on the Ouachita River during a recent Mississippi River Commission low-water inspection trip—project leaders warned of significant future financial challenges for the landmark Mississippi River and Tributaries Project amid funding shortfalls.
