- ➤ A Hot Springs woman who had been missing for over a year was found at a Little Rock gas station and identified herself as Tori Milsak — police later arrested her on an outstanding warrant. ABC 7
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Donald Allen, a longtime Little Rock School District employee, filed a lawsuit on Thursday claiming his demotion and firing as safety and security captain were retaliatory after he raised concerns about alleged education law violations and misuse of funds. He said that after returning from administrative leave he was reassigned to oversee middle schools and later passed over for reappointment, and his attorneys are seeking compensatory damages and reinstatement. - ➤ The University of Arkansas has opened a new display garden in Hope where Dr. Anthony T. Bowden runs plant tests to find flowers and vegetables that grow well in local yards.
