- ➤ The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is searching for 27-year-old Jamall Warren, who is linked to the March 30 homicide in Little Rock and is believed to travel between Little Rock and Atlanta in a Jeep Liberty with Arkansas license plate AYZ84D—he is considered armed and dangerous and may be accompanied by a woman. - ➤ Saline County deputies responded on Sunday at 7 p.m. to a call on Terrace Drive where they found a man fatally shot and arrested 33-year-old Illinois man Raul Maytorena—accused of stealing a witness' vehicle and fleeing before his car crashed—who now faces first-degree murder charges. - ➤ The Little Rock Police Department identified Travis Weston Jr as a capital murder suspect in connection with the May 20 fatal shooting of 20 year old Joshua Brown on South Pulaski Street, and officials say further details will be released as the investigation continues. ABC 7
- ➤ One man died in a shooting on Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock early Saturday morning (around 2:30 a.m.) when officers found him near 6804 Colonel Glenn Road, and police are still investigating with no suspect named. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Arkansas State Police today updated online safety rules after a sharp rise in child sextortion cases, noting 169 cases in 2024 and 170 by mid-2025 +officials urge children, parents and caregivers to update online safety strategies+. KARK
- ➤ The Little Rock Police Department launched a homicide investigation after a man died from a gunshot wound on the 1700 block of John Barrow Road at 12:40 p.m. on June 15—homicide detectives are gathering evidence. ABC 7

- ➤ UAMS performed the first interneuron cell transplant in Arkansas on a 33-year-old father from Hot Springs in February to treat his non-lesional epilepsy. Early tests show his seizures dropped greatly and doctors plan to study the five hour surgery's results further — the treatment may help others with hard-to-treat epilepsy. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana received a $500,000 challenge grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation to support building the first in-hospital Ronald McDonald House inside Baptist Health for families with hospitalized children in Little Rock — they must raise an additional $250,000 by April 8, 2026 as construction is set to begin in March 2026 with the facility opening six months later.
