- ➤ The Sherwood Police Department is asking for help in finding Hailey Purcer, a white woman with blue eyes standing 5 ft 7, who was last seen Tuesday, June 10 in Sherwood and later in a 2010 Black Chrysler Town and Country Van with Missouri license plate LH8S4J in Jacksonville on Friday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m.—she contacted her mother on Saturday, June 14 and reportedly made suicidal statements. - ➤ Little Rock police are investigating a homicide that occurred Sunday afternoon at 1740 John Barrow Road—officers responded at about 12:40 p.m. and found an adult male who later died in a local hospital. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Central Arkansas Water’s board approved a $230 million bond issue to overhaul the Jack H. Wilson Water Treatment Plant in west Little Rock. The financing includes $216,590,000 for construction, $13,315,000 for capitalized interest, and $95,000 for bond costs—officials expect to close the transaction in July to boost the plant's capacity from 133 million to 150 million gallons a day.
