- ➤ A 33-year-old North Little Rock man accepted a 34-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder for fatally stabbing his longtime companion in front of her two young children+ the older child described the attack to police. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ North Little Rock police began a death investigation after finding a man dead in the 8000 block of Faulkner Lake Road just before 1 a.m. Friday—officials said the body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and anyone with tips should contact Detective Adam Williams at 501-771-7167—. - ➤ North Little Rock police responded at 12:54 a.m. Friday to a call in the 8000 block of Faulkner Lake Road and discovered an unidentified man dead in the street — his body was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
