- ➤ Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin warned small businesses that they face scams such as phishing, tech support scams, fake invoices, business email compromise, and impersonation scams—he urged owners to train employees, verify contacts, and keep their software updated to avoid fraud. - ➤ Arkansas officials warned residents to ignore scam text messages that claim you owe money to a fake DMV—calls to local offices and police advice have emphasized not clicking on any links and reporting any suspicious texts immediately. THV 11
- ➤ Little Rock Police investigated a fatal shooting on June 10th when calls at 10:54 a.m. led officers to the 800 block of S Rodney Parham Road and an adult woman who suffered gunshot wounds was taken to a local hospital where she later died—authorities have opened a homicide investigation. ABC 7

- ➤ A group representing pharmacy benefit managers filed a lawsuit against a new Arkansas law that will force about 40 local pharmacies to close and limit access to medication. CVS Health Corporation and Express Scripts had already filed lawsuits — this marks the third legal challenge as the law will take effect next year. ABC 7
