- ➤ Amazon plans to build a 950,000-square-foot warehouse on the 107 acres it purchased at the Port of Little Rock in April after filing a building permit that still awaits city approval. The $151 million project will include 170 loading docks, 807 trailer parking spaces and a new road and is expected to be completed within a year and a half, adding hundreds of jobs. - ➤ Authorities say escaped murderer Grant Hardin—dubbed Devil in the Ozarks—fled Calico Rock prison last month by disguising himself as a law officer and is believed to be hiding in Ozark caves to avoid recapture. THV 11

- ➤ Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced her trip to Europe to attract investment from defense and aerospace firms. The trip will include a visit to Normandy to honor fallen soldiers — she will then attend the Paris Air Show before finishing in Switzerland from June 14 to 19. THV 11
- ➤ Attorney General Tim Griffin refused to appoint a replacement for Commissioner Lopez on the Ethics Commission, saying the law that requires a minority appointee is unconstitutional — a move that has drawn criticism from legal experts and the NAACP, which may sue if he continues his refusal. Commissioner Lopez will keep serving on the board, and the dispute highlights a challenge to a rule set since 1991. ABC 7
