  • Mr. Mac's Learning and Art Center in North Little Rock runs a Drum Academy that helps children aged 6 to 18 learn music and dance. The non-profit is asking for community donations to support the youth program (donations via Cashapp at Maccenter 23 or Venmo @mccenter).  ABC 7

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Crews with the Little Rock Fire Department put out a blaze on Saturday morning that destroyed two cars and damaged the exterior of the Barton Oaks Apartment building (located a few blocks west of the State Capitol) with no injuries reported as the fire reportedly started in one of the vehicles (officials say the incident is considered suspicious).  FOX 16

  • The Sherwood Police are searching for a missing 22-year-old man who was last seen on May 29 at 10:30 p.m. near Windridge Court wearing blue shorts, a white t-shirt, black socks and no shoes—if anyone has information, they should call 5018351425.  THV 11
  • The Little Rock Police Department named Marshon Conway as the suspect wanted for capital murder after a fatal shooting on Auxor Road on May 11 when officers arrived at 9:42 p.m.—they found a male victim who died at a local hospital.  ABC 7

SPORTS NEWS

  • Arkansas baseball beat Creighton 8-3 and advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the first time since 2022—Gage Wood struck out 13 batters while Logan Maxwell hit two home runs. The regional final was a high-stakes game that saw the Razorbacks building an early lead and holding off Creighton to secure the win.  THV 11
  • Little Rock baseball upset No. 6 LSU with a 10-4 win Sunday night in the Baton Rouge NCAA Regional and now must beat LSU again today to secure their first-ever Super Regional berth—after overcoming a 0–3 deficit with Angel Cano’s decisive two-run homer—marking a historic turnaround for the team.  THV 11
  • The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team was one win from reaching the Super Regionals after beating their opponents by an 18 to 3 margin in two games in Fayetteville — they played on Sunday night against the winner of the Creighton and North Dakota State game and will play today if needed.  THV 11
  • Chase Campbell, a consensus 4-star receiver, made his official visit to Arkansas in Fayetteville, which improved the Razorbacks’ chances for him to play college football — his trip could shift the team’s future plans.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
