- ➤ Women and Children First cut the ribbon on the new Forest of Hope Family Peace Center on Thursday. The center will open in June and offers survivors and their children medical, mental health and pet care services for added safety. THV 11
- ➤ Today, The Next Step Homeless Services organization began its Next Step Neighborhood project in Little Rock, a tiny home community — offering secure housing for homeless Arkansans. The initiative will give residents temporary shelter and support. THV 11

- ➤ Eoff’s Food Trailer in Delight has had its signature Wombat Burger named Arkansas’ best burger by the Arkansas Beef Council after over 3,200 nominations were submitted in April. - ➤ Little Rock welcomes two new restaurants as foodies gain more options. Waco-based Roni’s Mac Bar will open tomorrow at 1220 Main St. offering customizable mac and cheese from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., while 1916 Chop House & Spirits opened May 21 at 3610 Kavanaugh Blvd in Hillcrest serving steaks and game. - ➤ Ambassador Mike Huckabee, the former governor, highlighted his ongoing service as U.S. ambassador to Israel and looks ahead to July 4 celebrations marking America’s 250th anniversary (remarks reported recently). - ➤ Billy Richmond III withdrew his name from the NBA Draft on Wednesday and will return for his junior season at Arkansas, boosting head coach John Calipari's lineup (he averaged 11.2 points and 4.3 rebounds last season). THV 11
- ➤ Arkansas golfer Reagan Zibilski earned a spot on the Epson Tour for the rest of this season and next season after a top 10 finish in the LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway.
