- ➤ Two years after a tornado damaged Burns Park in 2023, the park has recovered and reopened Funland this spring, where families enjoyed new handicapped-accessible rides + the popular children's train. - ➤ Officials are searching for Grant Hardin—an escaped former police chief from an Arkansas prison—who is considered extremely dangerous. THV 11
- ➤ Officers responded to a shooting on May 22 at 4805 Lovett Drive where one man sustained gunshot wounds — suspect Jacob Goff-Stanick fled during a North Little Rock traffic stop and exchanged gunfire with officers before being arrested and questioned on May 24. ABC 7
- ➤ Saline County Judge Matt Brumley released photos showing vandalism on the new Southwest Trail where equipment from James A. Rogers Excavating was damaged—one machine found partly submerged in a creekbed—and he offered an $11,000 reward for any tip leading to a conviction. ABC 7
- ➤ A woman died and two others were injured in a shooting in Holly Grove (this weekend) (no further details have been released). THV 11

- ➤ Gold Star families, veterans and community members gathered in Little Rock Monday to remember those who lost their lives in U.S. military service — the ceremony featured taps and personal reflections, including Sharri Briley honoring her husband, Donovan Briley, who was killed in action over Mogadishu. The event served as a tribute to the sacrifice of all who served with honor. KARK
