- ➤ A Little Rock man was arrested after fatally shooting his girlfriend at his 4415 W. 24th St. home early Monday—witnesses said he acted on his suspicions of her infidelity during a fight—police confirmed. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Steve H. Broadnax III will premiere his new play with music, Me and the Devil, next week at Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock. - ➤ The Arkansas Department of Commerce and the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the state’s unemployment rate stayed at 3.7% in April.
