ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A study by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission shows that bass at Beaver Lake are thriving; nighttime electrofishing recorded high catch rates plus large fish, and recent tournament data ranks the lake as one of the top spots for black bass fishing.   • The Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority announced its revamped website today, featuring enhanced navigation, improved accessibility tools, and a mobile-friendly design.   • The DOJ reclassified FDA-approved medical marijuana as a Schedule 3 drug three weeks ago in Little Rock—leading Good Day Farms to say patients may soon buy firearms if the ATF finalizes its new form—although current rules still force cardholders to sign forms that bar such purchases.  ABC 7
