Forrest—motivated by the unsolved murder of his sister and previous police discipline—will unveil his SMART Justice plan on Monday to address the region’s violent crime crisis. - ➤ Arkansas lawmakers ended the legislative session on May 5 without extending postpartum Medicaid coverage—about 1,850 new mothers lost insurance during the critical 60 days after giving birth.
