- ➤ The Arkansas State Crime Lab confirmed the state's first overdose death from the synthetic opioid cychlorphine — a substance up to 10 times more potent than fentanyl. THV 11
- ➤ On Saturday, Apr. 25 the DEA held the 30th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and Arkansas collected a record 50,240 lbs of unneeded medications from local drop boxes. Officials say the event helped remove dangerous drugs from homes and contributed to a national total of over 642,000 lbs. ABC 7
