- ➤ Residents in Little Rock have been frustrated by illegal car caravans disrupting neighborhoods on Mississippi Street for the past two nights with over 100 vehicles driving dangerously and potentially delaying emergency services in areas like Glenwood Heights and Leawood—local police are increasing patrols to address the issue. - ➤ Arkansas State Police arrested Brian Cooper Jr.—a 28-year-old former firefighter and Haskell officer from Benton—on Friday on charges including rape, child grooming, 22 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material, and additional offenses after an investigation that began in December led to search warrants at his Benton home and the Turtle Creek Fire Department.
