- ➤ Capybaras will return to Little Rock Zoo this fall or early next year as part of a $3 million expansion that adds a new mixed-species habitat with squirrel monkeys. A local boy is helping sponsor the project (aiming to raise $5,000) to support the exhibit. ABC 7
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Cabot Christian School, which lost 25 percent enrollment after being forced out of its former Cabot location, accepted an offer on the Wells Preparatory Academy building along Highway 161 in south Jacksonville. - ➤ Storms are forecast to develop today in northern Arkansas as morning showers turn into severe afternoon and evening weather with damaging wind-gusts, hail and a possible isolated tornado; rain will continue into Wednesday night with up to 2 inches expected. ABC 7

- ➤ Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced on Monday the application process for the state's Rural Health Transformation Program, offering $209 million to expand telehealth, emergency services and rural health workforce. A $55.6 million telehealth initiative has started, and more funds will come over the next 90 days. ABC 7
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Walmart recalled two Great Value frozen pizzas (stuffed crust chicken bacon ranch and thin and crispy crust chicken bacon ranch) on Monday, May 4 due to Salmonella concerns linked to a recalled dry milk powder; no illnesses were reported, and customers are advised to dispose of these items.
