ECONOMY NEWS

  • Port authorities in Pine Bluff and Little Rock have partnered to boost economic growth along the Arkansas River. The collaboration includes a recent port showcase — with plans to finalize an agreement and secure over $9 million for infrastructure upgrades.  ABC 7

SPORTS NEWS

  • Transfer forward Daniah Trammell committed to Arkansas women's basketball — a 6-1 Cincinnati native who averaged 8 points and 2.3 rebounds for Arizona in 2025-26. She is the sixth transfer joining the Razorbacks, announced Friday on social media.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • On Thursday, Shiloh Christian beat Pea Ridge by one run at Pea Ridge to clinch the 4A-1 Conference baseball title.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
