- ➤ Oak Grove man Nathan James Hester, a 39-year-old, was sentenced to 71 months in federal prison for setting fire to a federally contracted rehabilitation center in Searcy and for earlier arson, and he also received three years of supervised release. ABC 7

- ➤ A historic church in Little Rock, dating from before the end of slavery, celebrates 180 years of service with one of the oldest Black congregations—marking its long-standing role in the community. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed a law that raises Medicaid dental reimbursement rates for oral surgeries and special care to help ensure more dentists serve patients after 18 years of unchanged rates. The law is expected to cost $7 million on the state share of Medicaid — a change aimed at bringing back providers for the underserved. KARK
