ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Traffic along the eastbound lanes of I-630 in Little Rock was impacted by an accident (left lane and shoulder blocked at mile marker 1.7) that injured one person. THV 11
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Following a 7-0 board vote, Jeff Senn was named the new superintendent of Pulaski County Special School District and will begin his three-year contract on July 1 while planning to boost early education and create graduation pathways for high school students (he currently leads Lonoke Public School District) and draws on his past roles as principal at North Pulaski and Maumelle High Schools (experiences that help him understand classroom challenges). - ➤ KARK 4 News interviewed Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday in Little Rock to recap hundreds of bills signed into law after the 95th General Assembly ended three months ago (the interview aired Apr 24). KARK
- ➤ ARDOT is working to improve safety in Little Rock—after a downed traffic light on South University Avenue raised driver concerns. Officials plan to inspect the intersection and repair the light as soon as possible. THV 11
