- ➤ On Monday, the Arkansas House of Representatives approved a bill that lets Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ office apply for reauthorization of the Medicaid expansion program — a measure that could affect state healthcare coverage in coming months. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin said on Monday that he asked the federal government to bar Pharmacy Benefit Managers from owning pharmacies, joining AGs from 39 other states and territories in a letter. The state legislature sent a similar bill to the governor that aimed to protect small businesses and consumers—CVS Health warned the law would force it to close some of its pharmacies. KARK
- ➤ A moratorium bill passed the House on Monday that keeps rules to protect the Buffalo River and Lake Maumelle watersheds— it now goes back to the Senate for a vote before reaching the governor’s desk. The Senate started its session at 10:30 a.m. on Monday to consider the bill. KARK
