- ➤ Severe weather hit Little Rock and Pulaski County, causing two deaths when a 5-year-old lost his life in a home on the 8000 block of Mabelvale Pike and 50-year-old Edward Crane Scott was found in a submerged vehicle near Rixie Road—14 people were injured in the storm. THV 11

- ➤ Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin warns that scammers use local caller IDs—often spoofed from out-of-state numbers—to trick residents into paying false toll fees or missing court dates. He urges Little Rock residents to delete suspicious texts, hang up on scam calls, and report incidents to his office immediately. THV 11
- ➤ On Monday, Chief Jimmie Kersh of the Chickamauga Nation urged residents to file FOIA requests—he said the state must show it has conducted an archaeological study at the Franklin County prison site. The tribe claims artifacts like arrowheads and stone grave lids found nearby prove that the land, which dates back 6,000 to 8,000 years, is a sacred burial ground for their ancestors. THV 11
