- ➤ Little Rock families enjoyed an Easter egg hunt (yesterday) at West Central Community Center where games, music and food trucks provided a safe, fun space for children. The event brought the community together to celebrate Easter. ABC 7
- ➤ The Arkansas Concerned Citizens Task Force held its Save Our Children spring conference in Little Rock today to unite community groups for youth protection and mentorship programs (organizers say the event builds safe spaces and bridges community gaps). ABC 7
- ➤ Volunteers served a warm meal at the Compassion Center on Easter Sunday, April 5 in southwest Little Rock. The homeless-shelter and addiction-recovery facility offered guests food and hope. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Churches nationwide are welcoming more young members, and leaders at Saint Mark Baptist in Little Rock report an uptick in congregants aged 18-35 that may bring fresh energy to worship. THV 11

- ➤ Last month, the Benton School District launched the LifeWise released time religious instruction program at Caldwell Elementary to let first-grade students leave campus and study the Bible at a local church during the school day. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Juniors Jack Liu and Shangyu Wu from Little Rock Central High won the Harvard National Speech and Debate Tournament in February after 10 months of intensive research on Arctic policy. - ➤ Local trainer Destanee Stephenson at Little Rock Athletic Club demonstrates the Sumo Squat Calf Raise during a master class led by Matt Parrott that challenges ankle stability, strength and balance.
