- ➤ Authorities dropped capital murder charges against three men accused of fatally shooting an 18-year-old in west Little Rock following the killing of the only witness who could identify them—these defendants were arrested in July and had no prior serious records. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ U.S. Marshals confirmed that on Monday, March 24, the Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force tried to arrest Willie Joe Larry-Purdiman on Baseline Road—when he fled and fired gunshots at officers, they used deadly force to stop him while one officer was injured. ABC 7
- ➤ Little Rock Police confirmed that 40-year-old Charles Gantt Jr. was killed on Sunday afternoon at 10220 Sibley Hole Road—officers are still searching for the alleged suspect, 21-year-old Tony Smith Jr. ABC 7
