- ➤ Macy Brummal, a 16-year-old sophomore at Rogers Heritage High, is the only Arkansas student chosen for Carnegie Hall’s 2025 National Youth Orchestra, which will rehearse in July—perform a New York concert on July 20—and then tour Asia. - ➤ Will Jones, prosecuting attorney for the Sixth Judicial District, has modernized his office by switching to a digital file system and launching a law enforcement portal that sped up case management and helped cut homicides by over 50 percent in Little Rock in 2024—he also created a new unit to address violent crime and brought on an experienced juvenile public defender to lead youth intervention efforts.
