ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Entergy Arkansas Inc. will raise residential bills by $5.77 per month starting in June to cover the cost of three new power projects — customers will see the increase on their upcoming bills. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Little Rock School District officials recommended April Rike, an administrator from Southwest High School, as the next principal of Central High School. The school board will vote on the pick next week. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Central High School has designated April Rike as its next prospective principal. The former teacher and graduate with nearly 30 years of experience is set to succeed Nancy Rousseau (retiring July 1). ABC 7

- ➤ At the governor's mansion on Friday afternoon, Arkansas honored a local Navy Seal by awarding him a posthumous Medal of Freedom, celebrating his service & sacrifice for the state. THV 11
- ➤ Highway 70 Broadway Bridge will see lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from March 9 to 12 for daily inspections - detour signs will guide traffic on northbound and southbound lanes. ABC 7
