- ➤ The Pulaski County Special School District was granted unitary status after Judge D.P. Marshall Jr. ruled its renovations at Mills High School met court requirements, ending 43 years of federal oversight. It will now operate under full local board control. ABC 7
- ➤ Applications are open for the UAMS MASH summer medical camp for rising high school juniors and seniors across Arkansas. The free two-week program (featuring hands-on workshops, healthcare shadowing, and CPR training) will be held in various towns in June and July, with deadlines between March 18 and May 8. THV 11
- ➤ Small-town voters will decide on Act 919 proposals on Tuesday, Mar. 3, with questions on forming independent school districts on their ballots. Officials say the measure is designed to save money and preserve local programs that keep community schools thriving. THV 11
