  • A man from North Little Rock won $680,000 in the Natural State Jackpot drawing on Thursday, Feb. 12 at Park Hill Shell on J.F.K. Boulevard; he plans to share the prize equally with his best friend after learning about the win at the ASL Claim Center.  ABC 7

  • A historic postcard from De Queen circa 1930 shows the city promoted as the 'Land of Fruit and Flowers' with a handsome home that belonged to John Siler Lake — a former prosecutor and circuit judge who died there in 1949 at age 88.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • North Little Rock School District and UA-PTC launched a degree pathway that lets 10th-12th graders earn an associate degree along with their diploma. Officials said the Scholastic Institute program (signed Feb. 12) lets qualified students access college courses with no tuition fees as Act 340 of 2025 covers costs.  ABC 7
