EDUCATION NEWS

- ➤ Little Rock Central High School principal Nancy Rousseau is retiring after 24 years of service. She thanked students, parents, and staff in a letter and will help search for her replacement to keep the school's legacy strong. ABC 7

- ➤ Arkansas scientists tested gamma oryzanol from rice bran to reduce oxidative stress and improve skin cell healing. They plan to secure funding for animal trials and begin clinical trials by 2030. THV 11

- ➤ Conway’s boys basketball team, the Wampus Cats (11-8, 3-3 in 6A-Central), has shown strong effort but sometimes struggles to finish games, Coach Joey Moon said.
