Arkansas Game and Fish Commission biologists advise anglers fishing for deep-water bass to handle their catch because rapid depth changes can cause barotrauma (similar to divers' bends).
Those with 10-pound bass in the Legacy Lunker program will have their fish cared for at Joe Hogan State Fish Hatchery in Lonoke.
