Yesterday, the Little Rock Board of Directors discussed a proposal to loan $7.5 million to the city housing authority to help stop a foreclosure on over 200 units at Madison Heights near Fair Park Boulevard and West 12th Street. Mayor Frank Scott Jr. said the board will vote on the plan on June 3, and officials explained the deal requires HUD certification (with audited records) before funds are disbursed.
